The LAMY aion nib features a uniquely curved contour that serves as the signature characteristic of the aion series. Its unconventional and modern silhouette provides a bold, expressive accent to any Lamy writing instrument. Meticulously polished, this stainless steel nib delivers an exceptionally soft and smooth writing feel.

Originally designed as the standard replacement for the LAMY aion and LAMY ideos models, its versatile design is also fully compatible with all other LAMY fountain pen models, with the exception of the LAMY 2000.

Our tip:  Members of the LAMY community find the specially shaped nib LAMY Z53 writing feeling very similar to a gold nib - so you can better assess in advance whether the investment in a gold nib may be worthwhile for you.

Which size is suitable for you?

• Round Tips (Easy & Smooth)
  M (Medium)
  The most popular "all-round" nib, featuring a completely rounded tip. It provides a generous and consistent ink flow that suits almost any handwriting style, offering a balanced blend of smoothness and precision for everyday use.
• Straight Tips (Precise & Consistent)
  EF (Extra Fine)
  The thinnest nib in the LAMY range, featuring a sharp, straight-ground tip. It is perfect for those with very small or neat handwriting and excels at detailed work where precision and fast-drying ink lines are essential.
  F (Fine)
  A best-seller for general-purpose writing, this straight-ground nib offers a slightly thicker line than the EF. It provides a smooth glide across the page while maintaining a crisp, clean line that is ideal for standard script and daily notes.
  B (Broad)
  A wide, straight tip designed for large or fast handwriting styles. It produces bold, thick lines and an ample ink flow, making it perfect for flourishes, vibrant journaling, or authoritative signatures.
